The first collaboration between Big Fish Games and iVillage was for a browser game to be published right before the 2005 Oscars. I developed a puzzle game in which you are an usher at the Oscars, and you need to seat various stars in rows. There are some rules, though:
- people cannot sit next to each other if they have never co-starred in a movie nor dated each other,
- people cannot sit next to each other if they dated each other and then broke up.
Given those two rules, you need to place the stars in the correct seating order.
There are two sets of stars. One set is randomly picked before the game starts.
I updated the game for the 2006 Oscars.
iVillage.com no longer seems to have either game online, but the 2005 and 2006 versions are still playable at ivillage.co.uk.
