In early 2010, I was asked to create a memorial site for an interesting woman named Anita Atkisson. Her son had hundreds of minutes of audio and video interviews and hundreds of photos, and he wanted a multimedia site for her family and friends to remember her by.
I created a wrapper around the standard Flash video player so I could do some special effects on it. I also made an audio player so visitors could play and control any of the audio or video interviews.
I also created an animated photo album timeline. When visitors clicked on a photo, they could see historical information and other related media, such as other photos, audio, and video.
Finally, there was video footage of her memorial service. The service was divided into chapters based on the speaker, and each chapter was presented with a cover flow component.
